I guess you could say my claim-to-fame would be the Custom Walk-around Videos, that gained nation-wide attention in the automotive business when I started doing these back around 2008 – It certainly was a very interesting time as I was asked to speak at several Automotive Conferences, including NADA.

auto industry for thirty one years, I am versed in various aspects of the

*Managed websites for both stores i.e. created all
graphics/banners/New/Used/Service/Parts Ads – Versed with CDK/Dealer Socket/Word Press
website platforms.

*Managed all SEO development/updates for both
websites. Created website content for Douglas VW & Douglas Infiniti.

*Designed and implemented monthly EBlasts in CRM for both stores which include UTM codes in order to track back
results/clicks to websites in GA (Google Analytics)

*Created highly engaging Used Vehicle

 that became
nationally recognized – Spoke at Brian Pasch`s Automotive Boot camp in regards
to this topic several years ago.

were then incorporated on the websites.

Specifically on the VDP (vehicle details pages).
Rather than looking at static images, the potential customer could be
enlightened about the particular vehicle through a video. This became a huge
benefit to the BDC if someone inquired about a particular vehicle. They would
simply send them the page link & the customer could watch the video.

*Created Pay-per-Click Campaigns via Google
AdWords.
 The “In-House”
benefit here was simply being able to track results in regards to what was
budgeted each month, via Google Analytics. Most importantly, knowing the actual
“Cost-Per-Click” in order to measure Return-On-Investment of these various
campaigns. Many Dealer Principals are not fully aware of this vital
information.

*Handled all aspects of Social Media i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & YouTube. Very versed in Facebook Marketing. Created various, compelling “Posts” that incorporated a variety of resources from Service, Sales, Customers to various Branding Videos from the OEM. Consistently developed highly targeted monthly Ads, which included New/Used Specials, Video Ads, Offers and Posts for both stores. 

Facebook became the 3rd highest website traffic driving
source due to my marketing strategies/Ads.

*Latest innovation; created Facebook Video-ads that
utilized the sales consultants at both stores. Shot quick one-minute clips, then created posts/ads on
social media platforms for quick exposure. Highly effective and a very
cost efficient marketing.*These
targeted Ads, were highly successful with the “Credit-Challenged” department at
Douglas as well as with New Vehicles.

Re-targeted
main website traffic (DouglasVW.com/DouglasInfiniti.com) with Facebook Video
Ads monthly.
Targeted surrounding
competitor’s towns with these ads as well on Facebook.

*Note of interest; we saw no local dealerships in New Jersey
utilizing this type of marketing. This afforded us the opportunity to
attract/sell customers from considerably far away areas that were not in our
local PMA. The Social Media Marketing campaigns that I created & deployed
while at Douglas, became a very efficient/low-cost/highly effective marketing
endeavor. Yes, we actually sold new and used vehicles directly from Facebook.
Again, these campaigns were all UTM coded in order to measure their performance
in Google Analytics. I provided reports from Facebook that attributed actual
sales from these various targeted ads.

*Created monthly on-line Reputation Management
Reports
 for
both stores & developed process for consultants to follow in order to accumulate monthly reviews.

Developed “Customer Pictures” process for sales consultants.

*Basically, my responsibilities were for “keeping a pulse” on all of the Douglas Auto Group`s Digital Marketing endeavors for both the Volkswagen and Infiniti stores.
